शृण्वानस्यैव रैभ्यस्य यवक्रीत विचेष्टितम् । दहन्निव तदा चेत: क्रोध: समभवन्महान्,यवक्रीतकी यह कुचेष्टा सुनते ही रैभ्यके हृदयमें क्रोधकी प्रचण्ड अग्नि प्रज्वलित हो उठी, जो उनके अन्त:करणको मानो भस्म किये दे रही थी
śṛṇvānasyaiva raibhyasya yavakrīta viceṣṭitam | dahann iva tadā cetaḥ krodhaḥ samabhavan mahān ||
ครั้นไรภยะได้ยินถึงการกระทำอันน่าอัปยศของยวักรีต โทสะอันใหญ่หลวงก็ผุดขึ้นในใจของท่าน; ดวงจิตประหนึ่งถูกไฟเผา ราวกับหัวใจจะมอดไหม้ไปเสีย
