लोगमश उवाच
The verse teaches that sacred recitation joined with ritual purity—symbolized by touching holy waters—clarifies one’s spiritual course. Ethical intent and reverent speech are portrayed as means that ‘illumine’ the devayāna, the divine path, i.e., a heavenward or spiritually elevated destiny.
Lomāśa is describing the fruit (phala) of a specific gāthā: a person who recites it while touching the waters gains a vision in which the devayāna path becomes manifest. It functions as a tirtha-related assurance of merit and spiritual guidance through prescribed remembrance.
