अयातयामं सर्वेभ्यो भागेभ्यो भागमुत्तमम् । देवा: संकल्पयामासुर्भयाद् रुद्रस्य शाश्वतम्,'देवताओंने रुद्रदेवके भयसे उनके लिये शीघ्र ही सब भागोंकी अपेक्षा उत्तम एवं सनातन भाग देनेका संकल्प किया”
ayātayāmaṃ sarvebhyo bhāgebhyo bhāgam uttamam | devāḥ saṅkalpayāmāsur bhayād rudrasya śāśvatam ||
โลมศะกล่าวว่า “ด้วยความหวาดเกรงพระรุทระ เหล่าเทพจึงตั้งปณิธานจะถวายส่วนแบ่งอันประเสริฐยิ่งกว่าส่วนอื่นทั้งปวง เป็นส่วนแบ่งอันถาวรนิรันดร์แก่พระองค์โดยพลัน”
