Sañjaya’s Report
शस्त्राणि गात्रे न च ते क्रमेर- न्रित्येव कृष्णश्ष॒ ततः कृतार्थ: | एवंरूपे वासुदेवे<प्रमेये महाबले गुणसम्पत् सदैव
śastrāṇi gātre na ca te krameran nṛtyeva kṛṣṇaḥ tataḥ kṛtārthaḥ | evaṃrūpe vāsudeve ’prameye mahābale guṇasampat sadaiva ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “อาวุธใดๆ ก็ไม่อาจทำอันตรายแก่กายของพระองค์ได้ ราวกับว่าพระกฤษณะเคลื่อนไหวในสนามรบประหนึ่งร่ายรำ ครั้นเหล่าเทพเห็นเดชานุภาพอันน่าสะพรึงในศึก จึงประทานพรคุ้มครองว่า ‘โอ้เคศวะ ในยามรบขออย่าให้ท่านอ่อนล้าเลย ขอให้การเคลื่อนไหวของท่านไม่ถูกขัดขวางแม้ในเวหาและในนที และขออย่าให้อัสตรศัสตราใดๆ กระทบกายท่านได้’ เมื่อได้รับพรดังนี้ พระศรีกฤษณะก็สำเร็จตามประสงค์โดยสิ้นเชิง ในพระวาสุเทวผู้ยิ่งใหญ่และประมาณมิได้นั้น คุณความดีและคุณสมบัติทั้งปวงสถิตอยู่เป็นนิตย์”
