सेनाग्रगं दंशितं भीमसेनं स्वालक्षणं वीरहणं परेषाम् | घ्नन्तं चमूमन्तकसंनिकाशं तदा स्मर्ता वचनस्थातिमानी
saṅjaya uvāca | senāgra-gaṁ daṁśitaṁ bhīmasenaṁ svalakṣaṇaṁ vīrahaṇaṁ pareṣām | ghnantaṁ camūm antaka-sannikāśaṁ tadā smartā vacanasthātimānī ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “เมื่อภีมเสนผู้สวมเกราะพุ่งทะยานอยู่หน้าสุดแห่งกองทัพ—มีลักษณะเฉพาะของตนแต่ศัตรูกลับยากจะหยั่งรู้—สังหารวีรชนฝ่ายตรงข้าม และเมื่อเขาเริ่มทำลายกองทัพศัตรูประหนึ่งอันตกะ (มัจจุราช) เอง เมื่อนั้นทุรโยธน์ผู้หยิ่งผยองยิ่งนักจักระลึกถึงถ้อยคำของข้าพเจ้า”
