यदा द्रष्टा भीमसेनं रथस्थं गदाहस्तं क्रोधविषं वमन्तम् । अमर्षणं पाण्डवं भीमवेगं तदा युद्ध धार्तराष्ट्रोडन्वतप्स्यत्
yadā draṣṭā bhīmasenaṁ rathasthaṁ gadāhastaṁ krodhaviṣaṁ vamantam | amarṣaṇaṁ pāṇḍavaṁ bhīmavegaṁ tadā yuddhe dhārtarāṣṭro 'nutapsyate ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—เมื่อดุรโยธนะเห็นภีมเสนประทับบนรถศึก ถือคทาในพระหัตถ์ ดุจพ่นพิษแห่งโทสะ ผู้ไม่ยอมอ่อนข้อ เป็นปาณฑพผู้มีความเร็วดุจภีม เมื่อนั้นท่ามกลางสงคราม โอรสแห่งธฤตราษฏระจักถูกความสำนึกผิดครอบงำ เมื่อรำพึงถึงผลที่จะตามมาจากศึกนี้.
