भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana

विदितं हि तवात्यन्तं क्रुद्धाविव यमान्तकौ । भीमार्जुनी नयेतां हि देवानपि परां गतिम्‌,श्रीकृष्ण! तुम तो अच्छी तरह जानते ही हो कि भीमसेन और अर्जुन कुपित हो जायाँ तो वे यमराज तथा अन्तकके समान भयंकर हो जाते हैं और देवताओंको भी यमलोक पहुँचा सकते हैं

viditaṃ hi tavātyantaṃ kruddhāv iva yamāntakau | bhīmārjunī nayetāṃ hi devān api parāṃ gatim |

ศรีกฤษณะ ท่านย่อมรู้ชัดยิ่งนักว่า เมื่อภีมเสนและอรชุนกริ้วขึ้น เขาย่อมดุจยามะและอันตกะอันน่าสะพรึง; ถึงแม้เหล่าเทพก็อาจถูกเขาส่งไปสู่ปรมคติ คือความตายได้
