भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana
त॑ वै ब्रूहि महाबाहो सर्वशस्त्रभृतां वरम् । अर्जुन पुरुषव्याप्रं द्रौपद्या: पदवीं चर,महाबाहो! समस्त शणस्त्रधारियोंमें श्रेष्ठ पुरुषसिंह अर्जुनसे कहना कि “तुम द्रौपदीके इच्छित पथपर चलो”
taṁ vai brūhi mahābāho sarvaśastrabhṛtāṁ varam | arjunaṁ puruṣavyāghraṁ draupadyāḥ padavīṁ cara ||
โอผู้มีพาหาอันเกรียงไกร จงไปบอกแก่อรชุน—พยัคฆ์แห่งบุรุษ ผู้เลิศที่สุดในหมู่นักรบผู้ถือศัสตรา—ให้เขาดำเนินไปตามหนทางที่เทราปทีปรารถนาเถิด
