तयोश्वैतदवज्ञानं यत् सा कृष्णा सभागता । दुःशासनश्व यद् भीम॑ कटुकान्यभ्यभाषत
tayor etad avajñānaṁ yat sā kṛṣṇā sabhāgatā | duḥśāsanaś ca yad bhīmaṁ kaṭukāny abhyabhāṣata ||

Public humiliation and cruel speech are not minor faults but serious breaches of dharma. The text highlights how contempt shown in the assembly—especially toward Draupadī—and provocative, bitter words toward Bhīma accumulate moral debt and become decisive causes for violent escalation.
The speaker recalls two outrages: Draupadī being brought into the royal court in a dishonoring manner, and Duḥśāsana speaking harshly to Bhīma. These remembered insults function as evidence of the Kauravas’ wrongdoing and as justification for the Pandavas’ resolve in the lead-up to war.
