Adhyāya 284: Tapas as a Corrective to Household Attachment
Parāśara’s Instruction
स्तुत्वैवं स महादेवं विरराम प्रजापति: । भगवानपि सुप्रीत: पुनर्दक्षमभाषत,इस प्रकार महादेवजीकी स्तुति करके प्रजापति दक्ष चुप हो गये। तब भगवान् शिवने भी बहुत प्रसन्न होकर दक्षसे कहा--
stutvaivaṁ sa mahādevaṁ virarāma prajāpatiḥ | bhagavān api suprītaḥ punar dakṣam abhāṣata |
ครั้นสรรเสริญมหาเทพ (มหาเทวะ) ดังนี้แล้ว ประชาบดีทักษะก็สงบนิ่งไป ฝ่ายพระผู้เป็นเจ้าศิวะก็ทรงยินดีอย่างยิ่ง แล้วตรัสกับทักษะอีกครั้ง
