वैशम्पायन उवाच त्वद्युक्तोडयमनुप्रश्नो यन्मां पृच्छसि पार्थिव । तत्ते5हं सम्प्रवक्ष्यामि यथावद्‌ भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tvad-yukto 'yam anupraśno yan māṃ pṛcchasi pārthiva | tat te 'haṃ sampravakṣyāmi yathāvad bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “โอ พระราชา คำถามต่อเนื่องของพระองค์ชอบยิ่ง เพราะพระองค์ไต่ถามข้าถึงเรื่องนั้น ฉะนั้นข้าจักอธิบายให้ครบถ้วนและถูกต้อง โอ ผู้ประเสริฐแห่งวงศ์ภารตะ”
