भरतवंशी नरेश! तत्पश्चात्‌ दुन्दुभियाँ बज उठीं, शंखोंकी ध्वनि होने लगी, सैकड़ों और हजारों देवांगनाएँ योगीश्वर स्कन्ददेवपर उत्तम फूलोंकी वर्षा करने लगीं ।। दिव्यगन्धमुपादाय ववौ पुण्यश्च मारुत: । गन्धर्वस्तुष्टवुश्ैनं यज्वानश्व महर्षय:

divyagandham upādāya vavau puṇyaś ca mārutaḥ | gandharvās tuṣṭuvuś cainaṃ yajvānaś ca maharṣayaḥ ||

โอ้กษัตริย์แห่งวงศ์ภารตะ! ครั้นแล้วกลองดุนดุภีก็กระหึ่ม และเสียงสังข์ก็ดังก้อง เหล่านางฟ้าเป็นร้อยเป็นพันโปรยพรมดอกไม้อันประณีตเหนือพระสกันทะ ผู้เป็นจอมแห่งโยคี ลมอันเป็นมงคลพัดพาเอากลิ่นหอมทิพย์มา และเหล่าคันธรรพกับมหาฤษีผู้ประกอบยัญญะต่างสรรเสริญพระองค์ด้วยความปลื้มปีติ
