Resolve for the Mace Duel
अहमुत्थाय सर्वान् वै प्रतियोत्स्यामि संयुगे । अनुगम्यागतान् सवनितून् संवत्सरो यथा,“मैं उठकर रणभूमिमें एक-एक करके आये हुए तुम सब लोगोंके साथ युद्ध करूँगा, ठीक उसी तरह, जैसे संवत्सर बारी-बारीसे आये हुए सम्पूर्ण ऋतुओंको ग्रहण करता है
aham utthāya sarvān vai pratiyotsyāmi saṁyuge | anugamyāgatān savanitūn saṁvatsaro yathā |
ข้าจะลุกขึ้นเผชิญหน้าพวกท่านทั้งหมดในสนามรบ—ผู้ใดผู้หนึ่งจะรุกเข้ามาทีละลำดับ ข้าก็จะรับไว้—ดุจดังปีหนึ่งที่รับเอาฤดูกาลทั้งปวงซึ่งมาถึงตามครรลองไว้โดยลำดับ
