अध्याय ३: कृपस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः
Kṛpa’s Counsel to Duryodhana
सो<वतीर्य रथात्तूर्ण गदापाणिरयुध्यत । युद्धस्थलमें सामने खड़े हुए उन योद्धाओंके साथ जूझते समय भीमसेनको बड़ा क्रोध हुआ। वे तुरंत ही रथसे उतरकर हाथमें गदा ले उन सबके साथ युद्ध करने लगे
so 'vatīrya rathāt tūrṇaṃ gadāpāṇir ayudhyata |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—แล้วภีมเสนก็รีบลงจากรถศึก ถือคทาไว้ในมือแล้วเข้าต่อสู้ ครั้นประจัญกับเหล่านักรบที่ยืนขวางอยู่เบื้องหน้าในสนามรบ โทสะของเขาก็พลุ่งพล่าน เขาจึงละรถศึก ยกคทาขึ้น แล้วรบกับพวกนั้นทั้งหมดแบบเผชิญหน้า
