अद्य दुर्योधनो दीप्तां श्रियं प्राणांश्व॒ मोक्ष्यति । 'श्रीकृष्णण आज हमलोगोंका सारा कार्य समाप्त हो जायगा। आज दुर्योधन अपनी उज्ज्वल राजलक्ष्मी और प्राणोंको भी खो बैठेगा
adya duryodhano dīptāṁ śriyaṁ prāṇāṁś ca mokṣyati |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—วันนี้ทุรโยธนจักสูญสิ้นทั้งราชลักษมีอันรุ่งโรจน์และแม้กระทั่งลมหายใจของตน; วันนี้กิจทั้งปวงของเราจักสิ้นสุดลง
संजय उवाच
Power and prosperity gained or defended through adharma are unstable; when ethical order is violated, the same ‘royal splendor’ (śrī) that seems secure can vanish, and the agent of injustice ultimately pays with everything—status, support, and life.
Sañjaya, narrating the battlefield events to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, foretells the imminent end of Duryodhana: the Kaurava leader is about to lose both his kingship’s radiance and his life, signaling the closing of the war’s final reckoning.
