Chapter 23: Śakuni Reports, Kaurava Advance, and Arjuna’s Penetration of the Host
न पुनः सौबलो राजा युद्धमभ्यागमिष्यति । 'यहाँ रथोंद्वारा भी युद्ध नहीं किया जा सकता। फिर बड़े-बड़े हाथियोंकी तो बात ही क्या है? रथ रथोंका सामना करनेके लिये जायँ और हाथी हाथियोंका। शकुनि भागकर अपनी सेनामें चला गया। अब फिर राजा शकुनि युद्धमें नहीं आयेगा” | ६१-६२ ह ।। ततस्तु द्रौपदेयाश्न॒ ते च मत्ता महाद्विपा:
na punaḥ saubalo rājā yuddham abhyāgamiṣyati |
“กษัตริย์แห่งเสาบละ (ศกุนี) จะไม่ออกมาสู้รบอีกแล้ว” ครั้นแล้วบุตรทั้งหลายของเทราปที และช้างศึกใหญ่ที่กำลังคลุ้มคลั่งเหล่านั้น (ก็เคลื่อนเข้ามา)
