संजय उवाच तवेदं स्वकृतं राजन्‌ महद्‌ वैरमुपस्थितम्‌ । विनाशो येन लोकस्य सानुबन्धो भविष्यति,संजय बोले--राजन्‌! यह आपकी अपनी ही की हुई करतूत है, जिससे यह महान्‌ वैर उपस्थित हुआ है और इसीके कारण सम्पूर्ण जगत्‌का सगे-सम्बन्धियों-लहित विनाश हो जायगा

sañjaya uvāca: tavedaṃ svakṛtaṃ rājan mahad vairaṃ upasthitam | vināśo yena lokasya sānubandho bhaviṣyati ||

สัญชัยทูลว่า—ข้าแต่พระราชา ความพยาบาทอันใหญ่หลวงที่บัดนี้ตั้งอยู่ตรงหน้า เป็นผลแห่งการกระทำของพระองค์เอง; เพราะเหตุนั้น ความพินาศของโลก พร้อมทั้งเครือญาติและผู้พึ่งพิงทั้งหลาย จักบังเกิดขึ้น
