श्रीकृष्ण उवाच
The verse highlights that a dynasty’s true greatness is measured not only by territorial spread but by guṇa—ethical and noble qualities—implying that virtue legitimizes and sustains royal expansion and reputation.
Śrī Kṛṣṇa, addressing a king, remarks on the prominence of the Bhojas descended from Yayāti, emphasizing both their wide influence across the four quarters and their distinguished virtues.
