अद्य कृष्ण विकर्णा मे कर्ण नेष्यन्ति मृत्यवे । गाण्डीवमुक्ता: क्षिण्वन्तो मम हस्तप्रचोदिता:,“श्रीकृष्ण! आज मेरे हाथसे प्रेरित और गाण्डीव-धनुषसे मुक्त हुए विकर्ण नामक बाण कर्णको क्षत-विक्षत करते हुए उसे यमलोक पहुँचा देंगे
sañjaya uvāca |
adya kṛṣṇa vikarṇā me karṇa neṣyanti mṛtyave |
gāṇḍīvamuktāḥ kṣiṇvanto mama hastapracoditāḥ ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “โอ้กฤษณะ วันนี้ศร ‘วิกรรณะ’ ที่ปล่อยจากคานฑีวะและขับเคลื่อนด้วยมือของข้า จะฉีกกรรณะให้บอบช้ำและส่งเขาไปสู่ความตาย”
