कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line

बभाषे च तदा स्थाणुमारोहेति सुरोत्तम: | तत्पश्चात्‌ वायुके समान तीव्रगतिवाले उन घोड़ोंको उठाकर सुरश्रेष्ठ भगवान्‌ ब्रह्माने महादेवजीसे कहा--'अब आप रथपर आरूढ़ होइये'

babhāṣe ca tadā sthāṇum āroheti surottamaḥ | tatpaścāt vāyukesamānān tīvragativataḥ aśvān utthāpya suraśreṣṭho bhagavān brahmā mahādevam uvāca—“idānīṃ tvaṃ ratham āroha” ||

แล้วพระพรหมผู้ประเสริฐยิ่งในหมู่เทพตรัสว่า “โอ สถานุ (พระศิวะ) จงขึ้นรถเถิด” ครั้นแล้วพระพรหมผู้เป็นเลิศในหมู่ทวยเทพได้ยกและจัดเตรียมม้าเหล่านั้นซึ่งเร็วดุจวายุให้พร้อม แล้วทูลต่อพระมหาเทพว่า “บัดนี้ ขอพระองค์เสด็จขึ้นรถ”
