कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
शिरोभिरगमन् भूमिं ते हया वातरंहस: । इस प्रकार देवताओंने भगवान् शंकरके सारथिके पदपर उन्हें प्रतेष्ठित कर दिया। जब उस लोकपूजित रथपर ब्रह्माजी चढ़ रहे थे, उस समय वायुके समान वेगशाली घोड़े धरतीपर माथा टेककर बैठ गये थे
śirobhir agaman bhūmiṁ te hayā vātarāṁhasaḥ |
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ม้าเหล่านั้นซึ่งเร็วประหนึ่งลม ก้มศีรษะลงจนหน้าผากแตะพื้นดินด้วยความนอบน้อม ดังนี้เหล่าเทพจึงสถาปนาสารถีของพระศังกรไว้ในตำแหน่งอันกำหนดแล้ว และเมื่อพระพรหมกำลังจะเสด็จขึ้นสู่รถศึกอันเป็นที่สักการะในโลกนั้น ม้าเร็วดุจวายุเหล่านั้นก็นั่งลง เอาหน้าผากแนบพื้น ราวกับประกาศความศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งขณะนั้น”
