कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
'भगवन्! आपने पहले हमलोगोंसे कहा था कि “मैं तुमलोगोंका हित करूँगा।” अतः उसे पूर्ण कीजिये ।।
bhagavan! āpane pūrvaṁ hamalogoṁse kahā thā ki “maiṁ tumalogoṁkā hita karūṁgā.” ataḥ use pūrṇa kījiye. sa deva-yukto ratha-sattamo no durādharo drāvaṇaḥ śātravāṇām | pināka-pāṇir vihito ’tra yoddhā vibhīṣayan dānavān udyato ’sau ||
“ข้าแต่ภควาน! กาลก่อนพระองค์ตรัสแก่พวกเราว่า ‘เราจักกระทำเพื่อประโยชน์ของพวกเจ้า’ ฉะนั้นบัดนี้ขอทรงทำให้ครบถ้วนเถิด รถศึกอันประเสริฐของเรานี้ประกอบด้วยฤทธิ์ทิพย์ ยากผู้ใดจะต้านทาน และเป็นผู้ขับไล่ศัตรูให้แตกพ่าย บนรถนั้น พระศังกรผู้ทรงถือปิณากะได้ถูกแต่งตั้งเป็นนักรบ ประทับพร้อมเพื่อศึก ทำให้เหล่าทานวะหวาดหวั่น”
