Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Fainting and Questions Concerning Droṇa
केडरक्षन् दक्षिणं चक्रं सव्यं के च महात्मन:
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | ke ’rakṣan dakṣiṇaṃ cakraṃ savyaṃ ke ca mahātmanaḥ | ke vīrāḥ purato droṇasya yuddhe yuddhaparāyaṇāḥ | ke ca tyaktvā śarīrasnehaṃ pratyapadyanta vai ripūn | raṇe mṛtyuṃ ca ye prāpuḥ ||
ธฤตราษฏร์ตรัสว่า “โอ ท่านผู้ประเสริฐ ใครเล่าปกป้องปีกขวาแห่งกระบวนทัพนั้น และใครปกป้องปีกซ้าย? วีรชนใดบ้างยืนอยู่เบื้องหน้าท่านโทรณาจารย์ ผู้มุ่งมั่นในศึก ณ สมรภูมินั้น? และผู้ใดสละความยึดติดในกาย เผชิญหน้าศัตรู แล้วเลือกความตายในสนามรบ?”
