धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा तथा द्रोणविषयकप्रश्नाः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Fainting and Questions Concerning Droṇa
ब्राह्मश्व वेदकामानां ज्याघोषश्न धनुष्मताम् । जो शीघ्रतापूर्वक हाथ चलानेवाले
brāhmaśva vedakāmānāṁ jyāghoṣaś ca dhanuṣmatām |
ธฤตราษฏรตรัสว่า—สำหรับผู้ใฝ่เวท มีเสียงพรหมสวร คือเสียงสาธยายพระเวท; สำหรับนักธนู มีเสียงชยาฆोष คือเสียงสายธนูสะท้านก้อง. เขาเป็นผู้มือไว มีกำลัง ธนูมั่นคง เป็นผู้บดขยี้ศัตรู; ผู้ใดตกเป็นเป้าลูกศรของเขา แม้เป็นวีรบุรุษผู้ใฝ่ชัย ก็ยากจะรอดชีวิต. ตราบที่เขายังมีชีวิต เสียงสองประการนี้ไม่เคยขาด: เสียงเวท และเสียงธนู.
