Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
श्वेत: कुरूणामकरोत् क्षयं तस्मिन् महाहवे
sañjaya uvāca |
śvetaḥ kurūṇām akarot kṣayaṃ tasmin mahāhave |
jighāṃsantaṃ yudhāṃ śreṣṭha tadā āsīt tumulaṃ mahat ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ในมหาสงครามนั้น ศเวตได้ก่อความพินาศใหญ่หลวงแก่ฝ่ายกุรุ ครั้นแล้วเมื่อภีษมะ—ยอดนักรบผู้เป็นเลิศ—มุ่งหมายจะสังหารเขา ศึกก็ขยายเป็นมหายุทธอันตุมุลกึกก้อง ปณิธานที่จะคุ้มครองยอดนักรบหนึ่งคน ปะทะกับปณิธานที่จะโค่นเขาลง และจากการปะทะนั้นเอง ความรุนแรงก็ทวีขึ้นอย่างน่าหวาดหวั่น”
