Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | dīnāndhakṛpaṇādibhyo dīyamānena cāniśam | babhau paramakalyāṇo mahastasya mahāgireḥ ||

Translation

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—เมื่อมีการให้ทานและแจกจ่ายเสบียงแก่คนยากไร้ คนตาบอด คนขัดสน และผู้อื่นๆ อย่างไม่ขาดสาย มหาเทศกาลบนภูเขาอันยิ่งใหญ่นั้นจึงปรากฏเป็นมงคลและเกื้อกูลยิ่งนัก
