कला: काष्ठा लवा मात्रा मुहूर्ताहःक्षपा: क्षणा: । विश्वेक्षेत्र प्रजाबीज॑ लिड्रमाद्यस्तु निर्गम:
vāyudeva uvāca | kalāḥ kāṣṭhā lavā mātrā muhūrtāhaḥkṣapāḥ kṣaṇāḥ | viśvakṣetraṁ prajābījaṁ liṅgam ādyas tu nirgamaḥ ||
พระวายูเทพตรัสว่า “กะลา กาษฐา ลวะ มาตรา มุหูรตะ กลางวันและกลางคืน และกษณะ—เหล่านี้คือมาตราและส่วนแบ่งแห่งกาลเวลา. พระองค์ทรงเป็นฐานรองรับจักรวาลดุจพื้นดินของพฤกษาแห่งโลก; ทรงเป็นเหตุเมล็ดพันธุ์แห่งสรรพชีวิต; ทรงเป็น ‘ลิงคะ’ อันละเอียด—เครื่องหมายที่ทำให้อนุมานสิ่งอันไม่ปรากฏ; และทรงเป็นผู้แรกที่ปรากฏในกาลแห่งการสร้าง.”
