Shloka 4

संशय: सुगमस्तत्र दुर्गमस्तस्य निर्णय: । दृष्ट श्रुतमनन्तं हि यत्र संशयदर्शनम्‌

saṁśayaḥ sugamas tatra durgamas tasya nirṇayaḥ | dṛṣṭa-śrutam anantaṁ hi yatra saṁśaya-darśanam ||

“ในเรื่องธรรม การยกข้อสงสัยนั้นทำได้โดยง่าย แต่การวินิจฉัยให้มั่นคงกลับยากยิ่ง เพราะทั้งสิ่งที่เห็นประจักษ์และสิ่งที่ได้ยินจากอาคมล้วนหาที่สุดมิได้ และในทั้งสองอย่างนั้นย่อมปรากฏเหตุให้เกิดความสงสัยอยู่เสมอ”
