अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)

कर्मन्यासकृतानां च विरक्तानां ततस्तत: । या गतिर्ब्रह्मयसदने सा गतिस्त्वं सनातन,सनातन देव! कर्म-संन्यासियोंको और विरक्तोंको ब्रह्मलोकमें जो उत्तम गति प्राप्त होती है, वह आप ही हैं

karmanyāsakṛtānāṁ ca viraktānāṁ tatastataḥ | yā gatir brahmayasadane sā gatistvaṁ sanātana sanātana deva ||

วายุกล่าวว่า “สำหรับผู้ที่บำเพ็ญสันน्यासแห่งกรรม และผู้ที่คลายความยึดติดแล้ว ไม่ว่าจุดหมายอันสูงสุดใดที่กล่าวกันในสำนักแห่งพรหมัน—โอผู้เป็นนิรันดร์ โอเทวะผู้เป็นนิรันดร์—จุดหมายนั้นก็คือพระองค์เอง”

The verse identifies the highest spiritual goal promised to renouncers and the detached—often described as reaching Brahman’s abode—not as a mere place, but as the Eternal Divine itself. The ‘goal’ is ultimately communion with, or realization of, the timeless Lord.
