भीष्म उवाच ब्राह्मणानां परिभव सादयेदपि देवता: । ब्राह्मणांस्तु नमस्कृत्य युधिष्ठिर न रिष्यते
bhīṣma uvāca | brāhmaṇānāṁ paribhavaḥ sādayed api devatāḥ | brāhmaṇāṁs tu namaskṛtya yudhiṣṭhira na riṣyate |
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—“โอ้ยุธิษฐิระ การดูหมิ่นพราหมณ์อาจทำให้แม้เหล่าเทพต้องตกอยู่ในความทุกข์และความเสื่อมได้ แต่ผู้ใดนอบน้อมพราหมณ์และปฏิบัติต่อท่านด้วยความเคารพและถ่อมตน ผู้นั้นย่อมไม่ประสบอันตราย”
