उद्धव: सुन्दर: सुन्दो रत्ननाभ: सुलोचन: । अर्को वाजसन: शृज्जी जयन्त: सर्वविज्जयी
uddhavaḥ sundaraḥ sundaḥ ratnanābhaḥ sulocanaḥ | arko vājasanaḥ śṛjñī jayantaḥ sarvavijjayī ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “พระองค์ทรงมีพระนามว่า อุทธวะ สุทนฺทระ สุนฺทะ รัตนนาภะ สุโลจน; อีกทั้ง อรกะ วาชสนะ ศฤชญี ชยันตะ และ สรรพวิชชัยยี” นามเหล่านี้เป็นถ้อยคำสรรเสริญพระผู้เป็นเจ้า—ผู้เสด็จอวตารด้วยพระประสงค์เอง ผู้ทรงงามและเปี่ยมกรุณา ผู้มีพระรูปสุกสว่าง ผู้ทรงเกื้อกูลผู้มาขอ ผู้ทรงพิทักษ์จักรวาลยามปรลัย และผู้ทรงอธิปไตยอันไม่อาจปราบพร้อมทั้งทรงรอบรู้ทั้งปวง—เพื่อชักนำให้ระลึกถึงด้วยภักติเป็นธรรมปฏิบัติ.
