सुव्रतः सुमुख: सूक्ष्म: सुधोष: सुखद: सुह्ृत् मनोहरो जितक्रोधो वीरबाहुर्विदारण:
suvrataḥ sumukhaḥ sūkṣmaḥ sudhoṣaḥ sukhadaḥ suhṛt | manoharo jitakrodho vīrabāhur vidāraṇaḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—พระองค์ทรงมีปณิธานอันประเสริฐ มีพระพักตร์งามและผ่องใส; ละเอียดลึกยิ่งนัก; มีพระวาจาไพเราะกังวาน; ประทานความสุข; เป็นมิตรแท้ของสรรพชีวิตด้วยเมตตาอันไร้เงื่อนไข. ทรงชนะใจผู้คนด้วยความงามและถ้อยคำอ่อนโยน; ทรงชนะโทสะ—แม้ถูกปฏิบัติอย่างไม่เป็นธรรมก็ไม่กริ้ว; ทรงมีพระกรกล้าแข็ง; และทรงทำลายผู้ประพฤติอธรรม.
