उद्धव: क्षोभणो देव: श्रीगर्भ: परमेश्वर: । करणं कारणं कर्ता विकर्ता गहनो गृह:
uddhavaḥ kṣobhaṇo devaḥ śrīgarbhaḥ parameśvaraḥ | karaṇaṃ kāraṇaṃ kartā vikartā gahano guhaḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—พระองค์ทรงมีนามว่า อุทธวะ ผู้ก่อความสั่นสะเทือน; กษโภณะ ผู้ปลุกให้ปั่นป่วน; เทวะ ผู้สว่างไสว; ศรีครรภะ ผู้ทรงครรภ์แห่งสิริ; และปรเมศวร พระผู้เป็นใหญ่สูงสุด. พระองค์ทรงเป็นทั้งเครื่องมือและเหตุ; เป็นผู้สร้างและผู้รังสรรค์โลกนานาประการ; ล้ำลึกหยั่งไม่ถึง และทรงเร้นกาย—ปกปิดสภาวะของพระองค์ด้วยมายา.
