अमृतांशूद्धवो भानु: शशबिन्दु: सुरेश्वर: । औषध॑ जगत: सेतु: सत्यधर्मपराक्रम:

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | amṛtāṃśūdbhavo bhānuḥ śaśabinduḥ sureśvaraḥ | auṣadhaṃ jagataḥ setuḥ satyadharmaparākramaḥ ||

Translation

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—พระองค์คือผู้รุ่งเรืองผู้บันดาลให้จันทราผู้ทรงอมฤตอุบัติขึ้น; คือสุริยะผู้ส่องประกาย; คือจันทราผู้มีรอยกระต่าย; และคือจอมแห่งเทพทั้งหลาย. พระองค์คือโอสถเยียวยาโลก คือสะพานที่พาสรรพสัตว์ข้ามมหาสมุทรแห่งสังสารวัฏ และคือผู้มีเดชานุภาพตั้งมั่นในสัจจะและธรรมะ.
