रुद्रो बहुशिरा बश्रुविश्वयोनि: शुचिश्रवा: । अमृतः शाश्वतस्थाणुर्वसरोहो महातपा:
rudro bahuśirā baśruviśvayoniḥ śuciśravāḥ | amṛtaḥ śāśvata-sthāṇur varāroho mahātapāḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—“พระองค์คือรุทระ ผู้ขจัดทุกข์; ผู้มีเศียรมาก; ผู้ค้ำจุนโลกทั้งหลาย; เป็นบ่อเกิดแห่งจักรวาล; มีเกียรติคุณอันบริสุทธิ์ไร้มลทิน; อมตะ; ทรงเป็นนิรันดร์และมั่นคงไม่หวั่นไหว; เป็นยอดแห่งการไต่ถึง—ที่พึ่งสูงสุดอันพึงบรรลุ; และทรงมีตบะเดชอันยิ่งใหญ่.”
