सत्त्ववान् सात्त्विक: सत्य: सत्यधर्मपरायण: । अभिप्राय: प्रियाहों5र्ह: प्रियकृत् प्रीतिवर्धन:
sattvavān sāttvikaḥ satyaḥ satyadharmaparāyaṇaḥ | abhiprāyaḥ priyāhaḥ arhaḥ priyakṛt prītivardhanaḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า พระองค์ทรงเปี่ยมด้วยพลังภายในและคุณธรรม ทรงมีสภาวะสาตตฺวิก; ทรงเป็นสัจจะเอง—ผู้ตรัสความจริงและตั้งมั่นในธรรม. ทรงเป็นที่หมายอันเป็นที่รักของผู้มีใจรัก; ทรงคู่ควรแก่การถวายสิ่งอันเป็นที่รักยิ่ง; ทรงควรแก่การสักการะของชนทั้งปวง; ทรงกระทำสิ่งอันเป็นที่พอใจแก่ภักตะ; และทรงเพิ่มพูนความรักของผู้ที่รักพระองค์.
