एतद्‌ गृहस्थधर्म त्वं चेष्टमानो जनाधिप । इहलोके यश: प्राप्य प्रेत्य स्वर्गमवाप्स्पसि

Transliteration

etad gṛhasthadharma tvaṁ ceṣṭamāno janādhipa | ihaloke yaśaḥ prāpya pretya svargam avāpsyasi ||

Translation

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “โอ้ผู้เป็นใหญ่เหนือชนทั้งหลาย หากท่านมุ่งมั่นปฏิบัติธรรมของคฤหัสถ์นี้ ท่านจักได้เกียรติยศในโลกนี้ และครั้นละสังขารแล้วจักบรรลุสวรรค์”
