उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

एवं सुबहुशस्तस्य शूद्रस्थ भरतर्षभ । सोडगच्छदाश्रममृषि: शूद्रं द्रष्ट नरर्षभ

evaṁ subahuśas tasya śūdrāśramaṁ bharatarṣabha | so ’dṛcchad āśramam ṛṣiḥ śūdraṁ draṣṭuṁ nararṣabha ||

ดังนี้แล โอผู้ประเสริฐแห่งวงศ์ภารตะ ฤๅษีนั้นไปยังอาศรมของชูทรผู้นั้นหลายครั้ง ด้วยปรารถนาจะได้พบเห็นเขา แล้วจึงกล่าวถ้อยคำอันอ่อนโยนและไต่ถามถึงความเป็นมาที่ชูทรผู้นั้นมาถึงที่นั่น นับแต่นั้น ฤๅษีผู้รุ่งโรจน์ยิ่ง ผู้ตั้งมั่นในธรรมและเคร่งครัดในวัตรตบะ ก็มาเยือนที่พำนักของเขาครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า
