आस्तीक उवाच
The verse presents a phalaśruti: truthful, orderly narration and faithful recitation of a dharmic story is believed to confer protection—here, freedom from fear of serpents—highlighting the ethical and spiritual value of remembering and transmitting righteous narratives.
The speaker concludes the telling of Āstīka’s account, stating that it has been properly narrated and that its recitation brings a specific benefit: one need not fear snakes anywhere.
