परिक्षिद्वृत्तान्तप्रश्नः
Inquiry into Parīkṣit’s Conduct and the Beginnings of His Downfall
अथवापि समग्रेण तरन्तु तपसा मम । भवन्त: सर्व एवेह काममेवं विधीयताम्,“अथवा मेरी सारी तपस्याके द्वारा भी यदि आप सभी लोग यहाँ इस संकटसे पार हो सकें तो भले ही ऐसा कर लें”
athavāpi samagreṇa tarantu tapasā mama | bhavantaḥ sarva eveha kāmam evaṁ vidhīyatām ||
ทักษกะกล่าวว่า “หรือหากด้วยตบะของเราทั้งสิ้น พวกท่านทุกคนจะข้ามพ้นภัยนี้ ณ ที่นี่ได้ ก็จงให้เป็นเช่นนั้นเถิด—จงกระทำตามความประสงค์ของพวกท่านในทางนี้”
