Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
ततः शनै: पर्यपतत् पक्षै: शैलान् प्रकम्पयन् । एवं सो5भ्यपतद् देशान् बहूनू सगजकच्छप:,तदनन्तर गरुड अपने पंखोंकी हवासे बड़े-बड़े पर्वतोंको कम्पित करते हुए धीरे-धीरे उड़ने लगे। इस प्रकार वे हाथी और कछुएको साथ लिये हुए ही अनेक देशोंमें उड़ते फिरे
tataḥ śanaiḥ paryapatat pakṣaiḥ śailān prakampayan | evaṃ so 'bhyapatad deśān bahūn sa gaja-kacchapaḥ ||
แล้วครุฑก็บินต่อไปอย่างค่อยเป็นค่อยไป ทว่าแรงกระพือปีกของเขาทำให้ภูผาใหญ่ยังสั่นสะเทือน ครั้นเป็นดังนี้ เขาจึงเหินไปเหนือแว่นแคว้นนานาประการ โดยยังคาบหอบช้างและเต่าไว้ด้วย
