Educational Q&A

Even the most powerful (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) upholds dharma through vinaya (humility) and vidhivat conduct (proper, rule-governed etiquette). Respecting the worthy is presented as an ethical discipline, not mere formality.

Vaiśampāyana narrates that Śrī Kṛṣṇa, pleased, formally honors Yudhiṣṭhira with humble courtesy and also duly pays respect to Bhīma, acknowledging both their status and merit through proper ceremonial reception.
