ताविन्द्रलोक॑ निर्जित्य यक्षरक्षोगणांस्तदा | खेचराण्यपि भूतानि जष्नतुस्तीतव्रविक्रमौ,इस प्रकार इन्द्रलोकपर विजय पाकर वे तीव्रपराक्रमी दैत्य यक्षों, राक्षसों तथा अन्यान्य आकाशचारी भूतोंको मारने और पीड़ा देने लगे
tāv indralokaṁ nirjitya yakṣa-rakṣo-gaṇāṁs tadā | khecarāṇy api bhūtāni jaṣṇatus tīvra-vikramau ||
ครั้นแล้ว เมื่อพิชิตโลกของพระอินทร์ได้ ทั้งสองผู้มีเดชานุภาพดุร้ายก็เริ่มประหัตประหารและกดขี่หมู่ยักษ์ยักษะและรากษส ตลอดจนเหล่าภูตผู้เหินเวหาอื่น ๆ ด้วย
