अतो<न्‍न्यथा चेत्‌ क्रियते न हितं नो भविष्यति । तवाप्यकीर्ति: सकला भविष्यति न संशय:,यदि इसके विपरीत कुछ किया जायगा तो हमारी भलाई नहीं हो सकती और तुम्हें भी पूरा-पूरा अपयश मिलेगा--इसमें संशय नहीं है

ato 'nyathā cet kriyate na hitaṃ no bhaviṣyati | tavāpy akīrtiḥ sakalā bhaviṣyati na saṃśayaḥ ||

เพราะฉะนั้น หากกระทำสิ่งใดผิดไปจากที่ควรกระทำ ย่อมไม่ก่อให้เกิดความผาสุกแก่เรา และท่านเองก็จักได้รับความอัปยศอย่างสิ้นเชิง—ปราศจากข้อสงสัย
