गान्धार्याश्व यथा पुत्रास्तथा कुन्तीसुता मम । यथा च मम ते रक्ष्या धृतराष्ट्र तथा तव,धृतराष्ट्र! जैसे गान्धारीके पुत्र मेरे अपने हैं, उसी प्रकार कुन्तीके पुत्र भी हैं; इसीलिये जैसे मुझे पाण्डवोंकी रक्षा करनी चाहिये, वैसे तुम्हें भी

“บุตรของคานธารีเป็นดุจบุตรของเรา ฉันใด บุตรของกุนตีก็เป็นดุจบุตรของเรา ฉันนั้น เพราะฉะนั้น เช่นที่เราพึงคุ้มครองเขา ฉันใด ท่านก็พึงคุ้มครองเช่นกัน โอ้ ธฤตราษฏระ”
