Adhyāya 196: Droṇa’s Conciliatory Counsel and Karṇa’s Suspicion of Counsel (मन्त्र-नय-विवादः)

सैवमुक्ताब्रवीत्‌ कन्या देवं वरदमी श्वरम्‌ | पतिं सर्वगुणोपेतमिच्छामीति पुनः पुन:,उनके यों कहनेपर उस मुनि-कन्याने वरदायक महेश्वरसे बार-बार कहा--मैं सर्वगुणसम्पन्न पति चाहती हूँ”

saivam uktābravīt kanyā devaṁ varadam īśvaram | patiṁ sarvaguṇopetam icchāmīti punaḥ punaḥ ||

เมื่อได้ฟังดังนั้น ธิดาฤๅษีกล่าวซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่าต่อพระมหेशวรผู้ประทานพรว่า—“ข้าปรารถนาสามีผู้เพียบพร้อมด้วยคุณธรรมทั้งปวง”
