कर्णस्य मन्त्रः — Duryodhana-प्रति नीति-विचारः

Karna’s Counsel on Strategy toward the Pāṇḍavas

एष धर्मों ध्रुवो राजंश्वरैनमविचारयम्‌ । मा च शंका तत्र ते स्थात्‌ कथंचिदपि पार्थिव,राजन! यह अटल धर्म है। आप बिना किसी सोच-विचारके इसका पालन करें। पृथ्वीपते! आपको इस विषयमें किसी प्रकारकी आशंका नहीं होनी चाहिये

eṣa dharmo dhruvo rājan īśvarainam avicārayam | mā ca śaṅkā tatra te sthāt kathaṃcid api pārthiva ||

ยุธิษฐิระกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่ราชา นี่คือหลักธรรมอันมั่นคงไม่แปรผัน จงปฏิบัติตามโดยไม่หวั่นไหวและไม่ต้องครุ่นคิดลังเลเกินควร โอ้เจ้าแห่งแผ่นดิน ขออย่าให้ความสงสัยใดๆ เกิดขึ้นในพระทัยเกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้เลย”
