वैशम्पायन उवाच तमब्रवीत्‌ ततो राजा धर्मात्मा च युधिष्ठिर: । ममापि दारसम्बन्ध: कार्यस्तावद्‌ विशाम्पते,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--तब धर्मात्मा राजा युधिष्ठिरने उनसे कहा --'राजन! विवाह तो मेरा भी करना होगा”

vaiśampāyana uvāca | tam abravīt tato rājā dharmātmā ca yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | mamāpi dāra-sambandhaḥ kāryas tāvad viśāmpate |

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า ครั้นแล้วพระยุธิษฐิระ ผู้ทรงธรรม ตรัสแก่เขาว่า “ข้าแต่ผู้เป็นใหญ่เหนือไพร่ฟ้า แม้เราก็จำต้องเข้าสู่พันธะแห่งการอภิเษกในกาลอันควร”
