काम्यं हि रूप॑ पाज्चाल्या विधात्रा विहितं स्वयम्‌ । बभूवाधिकमन्याभ्य: सर्वभूतमनोहरम्‌,विधाताने पांचालीका कमनीय रूप स्वयं ही रचा और सँवारा था। वह संसारकी अन्य स्त्रियोंसे बहुत अधिक आकर्षक और समस्त प्राणियोंके मनको मोह लेनेवाला था

Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | kāmyaṃ hi rūpaṃ pāñcālyā vidhātrā vihitaṃ svayam | babhūvādhikam anyābhyaḥ sarvabhūtamanoharam ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—พระผู้สร้างทรงบันดาลรูปโฉมของปาญจาลีด้วยพระองค์เอง ให้งามน่าปรารถนายิ่งนัก ยิ่งกว่าสตรีทั้งปวง และชวนให้สรรพสัตว์ทั้งหลายหลงใหลในดวงใจ
