तेषां तु द्रौपदी दृष्टवा सर्वेषाममितौजसाम्‌ | सम्प्रमथ्येन्द्रियग्रामं प्रादुरासीन्‍्मनो भव:,द्रपदकुमारीपर दृष्टि पड़ते ही उन सभी अमिततेजस्वी पाण्घुपुत्रोंकी सम्पूर्ण इन्द्रियोंको मथकर मन्मथ प्रकट हो गया

teṣāṁ tu draupadīṁ dṛṣṭvā sarveṣām amitaujasām | sampramathyendriyagrāmaṁ prādurāsīn mano-bhavaḥ ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า— แต่ครั้นเหล่าบุตรปาณฑุผู้ทรงเดชได้เห็นเทราปทีแล้ว หมู่แห่งอินทรีย์ทั้งปวงก็ถูกรบกวนปั่นป่วน และมโนภวะ—กามเทพผู้บังเกิดจากใจ—ก็ปรากฏขึ้นอย่างแรงกล้าในภายในพวกเขา
